Destroyer brought me mixed emotions, caught between dark and light, good and bad – struggling to comprehend what I was truly experiencing and feeling throughout this piece of work.
The bad, its awful pace, it quickly becomes dull and you sit there, on the edge to falling asleep, unable to keep your eyes open and your head starts to get heavy and before you know it everything goes black.
The good, it is like nothing you’ve ever seen Kidman in before, brilliantly as she is she delivers such dark role with only the elegance and essence only she could.

Without revealing too much of the plot, a detective reconnects with some bad people from her past. The script is well written and so is the dialogue, yet the scenery becomes rather simple and then boring because they feel too long.
This movie will either destroy your will to live or reboot you with pure passion and love for film making.

Not something I’d personally recommend unless you are out of titles to check out on a rainy day. 5/10 and that is sole for the phenomanal perfomance of Nicole Kidman – her best act yet.
