Fifty shades of Grey (Bluray review)

Director; Sam Taylor-Johnson
Drama/Romance
2h 5 minutes
From 2015.

I’ve officially given this film three whole chances, praying, wishfully hoping it would somehow change my mind regarding the vision, script, act, and cast.
Sadly, it just continues to destroy me and shatter my spirit with its blue and sad delivery. As many other ladies all around the world, I was completely hooked by the passionate love story between Mr. Grey and Miss Steele.
I devoured the novels with such force, excitement, and love that I still can look back and remember the warm fuzzy feelings I got when entering the captivating world of these two love birds, and it broke my heart that the movie ruined it and rained all over my once blissful read.

I am pretty sure most of you know the over hyped plot by now, if you haven’t, instead of getting into the fact that you’ve must’ve lived under a rock these past few years, I will happily enlighten you.

Literature student, innocent, and shy Anastasia Steele, stumbles into the office of multi-millionaire Christian Grey, and she steps into a world BDSM and a powerful love that will change her life into one she never saw herself ever having or even experiencing.

I am well aware that the movies, hardly, ever, live up to the actual book, but I am pretty sure that with the high anticipation of this movie adaption and the large budget, they could’ve given us fans something more, something much greater and better. Everything was wrong from beginning to end, it wasn’t what the readers deserved to get after such long wait. 3/10
