Daniel Espinosa, another Swedish director who is making a name for himself in Hollywood, now delivers LIFE – a sci-fi/thriller that literally made me yawn after barely ten minutes into the story. Watching football would’ve been more entertaining and that alone says a lot coming from me considering that I hate sports. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind a good intense sci-fi flick but this was dragged out, flat, and had zero common sense.

The script was poor with no logic and was pretty much unwatchable. I forced myself through the entire film in hope that it would kick off somewhere in the middle, or maybe the ending would compensate for the lack of entertainment at the beginning, it didn’t.

A group of scientists aboard on the International Space Station gets in contact with a life form that ends up threatening the life of the crew members.

They sure as hell made it sound interesting. This could’ve been something good, great even, a total nail-biter, but sadly each character’s poor decision ruined it and made a total flop out of the entire film. 3/10
