After Baby Driver, it is pretty safe to say that Ansel Elgort is a rising star with a shining future. Here, in November Criminals, though equally enchanting in his performance, the weak storyline overshadowed his talent. The plot was flat, dull, and nothing extraordinary. There was nothing interesting or captivating about it. Once the plot is revealed, you’re sitting there as a human question mark wondering if that was it?
Two high school friends, besides finding out that there is more to their relationship than just best friends, they get themselves involved in trying to solve the murder of a friend.
It was predictable, and it lacked uniqueness and something fresh. 4/10 Not something I’d ever recommend.
Taking care – Making November Criminals.
