Watching paint dry would’ve been a much more entertaining Saturday than watching this! You truly have to be a lover of 60s retro because of the stunning cinematography to enjoy this, but oh lord what a dull script. It was the most boring motion picture I have seen in a long time, the acting was brilliant, Dicaprio never fails to deliver, and Pitt was great but the writing, the pace, the story, it was tiresome, life drainingly even – the almost 3 hours were not easy to watch thanks to the mundane dialogues!
Quintin Tarantino delivers his 9th film, this time set in old Hollywood in the late ’60s. Colliding Brad Pitt, Leonardo Dicaprio, and Margot Robbie, he creates little snippets stories parallel to each other as the star actor Dalton (DiCaprio) and his stuntman Booth (Pitt) tries to achieve fame in the city of angels.
Not something I’d ever recommend unless it’s an enemy of mine and I wish them nothing else but to waste 3 hours of their lives. 5/10 – and those 5 are sole based on the acting and visual.
