Stars in a clear blue sky, that is the definition of Ocean’s 8. Great actresses that don’t shine due to the lack of substance and depth, a lifeless script that delivers absolutely nothing besides a cool-attitude Rihanna, a preppy Sarah Paulson, and a greedy Sandra Bullock.

If you are familiar with the Ocean’s franchise, you’ll have a clue of what this film is all about. Masterminds doing crimes with style and some humorist lines to lighten up the atmosphere and give you that action thrill yet chill vibe all wrapped together with a bow and an ensemble of big actors and actresses, all gathered in one place.

Debbie Ocean is planning the biggest heist so far, and in order to pull it off during the most significant party of the year, the Met Gala – she needs a team of experts, and that is where every recognizable face from the entertainment industry waltzes in.
You got Rihanna, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham-Carter, and so many more. A ride of expensive jewelry, fancy dresses, and spy-mentality. 5.5/10
