Sextuplets (review)

Director; Michael Tiddes
Comedy
1 37 minutes
Out on Netflix

Let’s start with that I truly enjoy Marlon Wayans on screen. He has charm, charisma, and is hilarious – when he wants to be. Lately, however, is like his main mission is to deliver the worst movies, portraying the most idiotic characters, and you sit there wondering who was the fool who gave this script a go.

Alan (Wayans) finds out he one of 6 siblings (sextuplets) and goes on a journey to find each and one of them but runs into few obstacles on the way.

Wayans, portraying all of the siblings is just plain clownish here, every character more annoying than the other, too exaggerating, and simply stupid. They’re overdoing it with these personas, and it comes off as a desperate attempt to be fun but flops.
It is a waste of talent (because we know he has it), waste of budget, and most importantly, waste of your time or energy.
Painful to watch and something I’d never recommend.1/10
