Truth or Dare (Review)

Director; Jeff Wadlow
Horror/Thriller
1h 40 minutes
(Tickets provided by UIP)

Jeff Wadlow, the man behind Never Back Down, Kick-ass 2, and several others, delivers a mediocre, mostly thrill and barely any horror film with oh so little reasons to even consider putting an hour and 40 minutes into it. But if you want some laughs due to the poor visual, performance, and script, then this might just be up your alley.

A game that takes a twisted turn when few teenagers decide to play Truth or Dare during a trip in sunny Mexico, but instantly darkens when the games goes from innocent fun to follow them back home, and not letting them get out of the game unless they follow the horrific dares and rules.

Honestly, I must say that I was slightly disappointed because (as always) the trailer had me believe for it to be something much darker, scarier, and serious, yet I got terrible, average, and somewhat dull at certain moments. Not something I’d personally recommend. 3,5/10
