The Equalizer 2 (Review)

Director; Antoine Fuqua
Action/Thriller/Crime
2h
Swedish Premiere; August 24th

Based on the Tv-show that aired between 1985 and 1989, The Equalizer is the story behind one retired agent who takes on justice into his own hands and makes sure the bad gets exactly what they deserve.
Denzel Washington is back as Robert McCall in the sequel that is a thrilling and emotional film with a visual experience that will take you for an action-packed ride of beautiful sound and excitement.

Denzel Washington is on a league of his own, there’s a certain essence not only to him as an actor, but also to the roles he takes on.
The sort of charisma and feelings these characters that he plays reflects through the screen in a sense that has a way of connecting with the viewer, and that is something truly I enjoy about him.

In the second film, we get to once again follow Agent McCall as he equalizes the good and the bad, this time getting justice for a very personal murder that will you take you on a roller coaster of twists, new enemies, and not knowing who to trust. 7/10
