I’m not a fan of musicals, the only one that I find tolerable and actually find myself enjoy watching is, Mamma Mia. Other than that, I simply find it annoying and close to ridiculous, but that took a whole new turn after watching The Greatest Showman.
I cannot find the correct words to express the exclusivity of it.
It wasn’t simply your typical average looking musical, it was pure magic, from beginning to end.
It is so extraordinary that it will transport you into a dreamful world of flawless image, stunning movements, and brilliant performances; a motion picture that is just the finest of pure perfection, down to every single scene.
It reminded me why I loved movies so much, that is what this film does to you – suddenly, you’re a child again. Your heart and soul chanting with glory, every bone and muscle wants to burst out and dance right there on the spot.
For a brief moment, you will find yourself in this enchanting atmosphere, praying that it’ll never come to end.
You won’t even know how to continue with your life after it, how to even cope when coming back to reality.
The details were perfect, there is no doubt about it. Every scene was the essence of beauty and wonder, a cocktail that left me drunk swimming in bliss and joy. Once the film ended, besides one glistening tear escaping my eye, (truly a vision for sore eyes), I just couldn’t wait for the actual premiere so I could go see it once again. Like a drug, I got addicted to it, craving for even a crumb of more that is everything this film holds.
I loved it. I worshiped it. I bow to it. 10/10
Also, I’d like to thank 20th Century Fox Movies for besides delivering breakfast, they also delivered lunch due to the technical issues that dragged out the time. It was definitely not necessary, or something they had to do, but it was very kind and highly appreciated.
