The Hustle (Review)

Director; Chris Addison
Comedy/Crime
1h 35 minutes
From May 2019

I completely understand the negative comments, sure, this isn’t a movie for the bright one, one who is searching for something intellectual, something with depth, and something fresh and epic.
But, if you watch it with a drink in one hand, it ain’t that bad and you’ll actually find yourself enjoying what could be a dull afternoon.

Two female scam artist, two complete different opposite of one another meet and while thinking they’re the doing the con, they get what they deserve from a third party.

It’s not that shabby, it is quite entertaining, and one should not judge it too quickly nor get grabbed by the negativism, it’s a remake from the classic from 88 – Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, but with a twist. However, nothing will live up to the two phenomenal Steve Martin and Michael Cane, but Hathaway and Wilson have chemistry, and though the acting wasn’t superb this time, they bring some smiles and that should sometimes be enough. 4/10
